There are a number of ways you can help. The following describes the types of volunteers that are currently with our station.

Responding Members
Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B): An EMT-B can respond on all medical calls on a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit. Calls include anything from a headache to a major trauma from a motor vehicle collision or a fall. The following courses are required.
EMT-B 131 hours
Hazardous Materials Ops 24 hours
Bloodborne Pathogens 4 hours
CPR/AED Certification 8 hours
Firefighter I: A Firefighter I responds on all calls, including medical, on the engine. Calls include dwelling fires, motor vehicle collisions, brush fires, and many more. The following classes must be completed to respond as a Firefighter.
Firefighter I 102 hours
EMT-B 131 hours
Hazardous Materials Ops 24 hours
Bloodborne Pathogens 4 hours
CPR/AED Certification 8 hours
Firefighter II: A Firefighter II is basically the same as a Firefighter I, however, after completion of the course, you have the chance to act in a leadership role. For this rank, only Firefighter II (60 hours) must be completed.
Administrative Members
An Administrative member does not take training to ride the apparatus but assists the company with administrative matters and fundraising efforts. Includes positions as Hall Managers, Fundraising Chairperson, Bingo Committee, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.
Associate Member
An Associate member does not ride or wish to hold an office but wants to get involved. This person would assist with fundraisers and other company events as needed.
