On this day 22 years ago, we lost 343 of our FDNY brothers and sisters.

Today we will gather to honor and remember them and their sacrifice along with countless others who became sick after working in and around Ground Zero.

Also in our thoughts will be those impacted when AA flight 77 slammed into the Pentagon or the brave souls who downed UA flight 93 in a field in Shanksville PA saving countless other lives.
